About Me
My name is Karen McCarthy Keane originally from county Cork and now living in the west of Ireland. I have a degree in Physiotherapy (BSc Physiotherapy) from University College Dublin, qualified in 2005 and worked in the private healthcare system until 2020. After the birth of my third child in 2020 I became a stay at home mother and developed a deep interest in learning about the nervous system, trauma, attachment, neurodevelopment and the innate capacity within each of us to heal. My studies lead me to training in Transforming Touch® a modality which has had a profound impact on my own life and it would be my great privilege to share this nervous system healing modality with others.

Why I do this work
I do this work because it has helped me so much personally. I'm passionate about sharing the transformative power of Transforming Touch with others, helping you find greater ease and resilience in your life. I believe we all have an innate capacity to heal and our own unique gifts to offer in the world.

Transforming Touch
Transforming Touch works with the nervous system to repair early ruptures in attachment and build a sense of safety and trust.
Transforming Touch provides a way to reconnect with your body's innate wisdom and support your nervous system.
When our nervous system is dysregulated our capacity to cope with life's daily stresses is diminished resulting in overwhelm, emotional reactivity, and the accompanying feelings of guilt, shame, hopelessness, anxiety and despair.
